Where is it Brewed?:
Southampton, MA
Style:
India Pale Ale

This IPA has a deep copper color, a little darker than a typical IPA, but very clear with no haze. It poured with almost no head - what little there was disappeared quickly. Checking other reviews - this is consistent across all of them. Someone should start tweaking their carbonation or bottle conditioning process because there's a problem when a beer pours without a head. Give it a good swirl and the carbonation appears - its CO2 levels seem alright.

The most noticeable result of this bottling issue is the beer has almost no nose - there's nothing there and again, this is mentioned by almost every reviewer. Its a bitter beer for sure - with a big hop bite right up front and then coats your mouth with hop oils that finish dry and bitter. There's enough malt in there to balance out all those hops, but this beer would benefit for a more aromatic blend of hops in the nose.

Its a pretty good beer - its got good bones, you might say. But the packaging needs some work.
