I prefer to drink dark porters and stouts during the winter and that always starts with Guinness. Imperial stouts are good when I'm want something heavier and we used to make a chocolate cherry stout for Valentine's day each year - heavy on the chocolate and light on the cherry. Flying Dog's Road Dog Porter has been a staple this winter too.
